Samoa consumer prices from the Samoa Bureau of Statistics (SBS).
SBS publishes a complete current-base SDMX file, a monthly workbook and bulletin catalogue, and historical summary tables. The SDMX file supplies continuous national group indices from January 2011 and the February-2016 basket. The latest workbook extends the data by one month and retains the headline, underlying, local, imported, and local/imported-underlying cuts with published month-on-month and point-to-point annual rates.
The current series is explicitly based on February 2016 average prices. SBS's historical summary says it replaced a 2010-base basket; that retired family is kept in the archived catalogue and summary evidence and is never spliced onto the current detailed series.
